Aboitiz Foods Pte. Ltd. (“Aboitiz Foods”) is committed to complying with the Copyright Act of Singapore (the “Act” and to respond to claims of copyright infringement. Aboitiz Foods will promptly process and investigate notices of alleged infringement and will take appropriate actions based on the applicable law. 

If you believe that any copyright of your material has been infringed you can send a notification of claimed infringement (“infringement Notification”) to Aboitiz Foods copyright agent, at the address set forth below:

SUBJECT: IPO Copyright Notices 

For your complaint to be valid, you must provide sufficient information of the following when providing notice of the claimed copyright infringement:

  1. Identification of the notifier (if the notifier is an individual: his/her name, occupation, address, nationality, date and place of birth; if the notifier is a legal entity: its form, corporate name, registered office address and its representative body);
  2. Date of the Infringement Notification to Aboitiz Foods copyright agent; 
  3. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  4. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of the infringing activity, and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, as well as information reasonably sufficient to permit Aboitiz Foods to locate the material including references to both legal and factual justifications;
  5. Information reasonably sufficient to permit Aboitiz Foods to contact the copyright owner, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address;
  6. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and
  7. A statement that the complainant is the copyright owner or exclusive licensee or that he is authorized to act on behalf of such owner or exclusive licensee; and

You should be aware that, under the Act, a party who makes a statement, which is false or does not believe to be true shall be liable for loss/damages incurred as a result of making that notice and shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or to both.
